When should I fight Flenser?
I just got this game and I'm LOVING it so far, but I've run into a bit of a problem. I want to get fane cosplaying as an elf ASAP so i can get flesh sacrifice, but to do that I need to kill the flenser it seems. I'm currently level 5 or 6 (I can't remember which) and he just blinks in and one-shots one of my squishies. Am I just playing it wrong or am I too underleved. For strategy, i was thinking of engaging him with my tank and then after he takes his first turn, move everyone else in, so i can position them better.

You should already be more than strong enough to take him on. Maybe your equipment's underleveled? Constantly getting new armors and weapons to match your levels is a pretty big thing since the stats diffrence you get increases incrementally with each level.

And yeah good positioning always helps in this game :)

Oh and while we're on it try getting new skills too if you can maybe that can help as well.

Orivand is way harder than Kniles, I'm surprised he was easy for you but not Kniles.

Yeah you should be able to handle Kniles easily if you managed to beat Orivand lol.

Just use a resurrection scroll. After the first attack he's pretty easy to control.
Also, you can position your high DPS archer or mage near the room with the chest to get elevation bonus.

I usually stand on the stairs and use hailstorm to attack a golem and start the fight. After Kniles' teleport I teleport him as far as possible so he has to run to me. It gives the rest of the party time to hit him with spells and cc him for a few rounds and finish him off.

The one who stole the mask from Fane is outside of Fort Joy in the beach.

he wants the face ripper

you can trade a leg with him for the face ripper, and then use a good attack to do damage and start a fight with him. I killed him because of what he was doing making zimbies of everyone.

If your team is magic heavy then the kniles fight can be a toughy.

Ha..I remember that fight with flenser. I was playing on Tactician. Has to prepare the playground with oil, burn everything up and focus to burst him down.He is likely to burst one of your charater too. Retreat and comback later to clean the remaining later.

Level 4 is when I usually get to that fight and kill him on Tactical.

Depends on your team but the fight is easy, with the most frustrating part being waiting for the stupid meat puppets to get out of their cage (although you can attack the ne puppet through the back of the cage and hit the others with ranged attacks, backlash attacks etc.

If you have amara's arm from the start you can give it to him, which allows you to summon minions/totems etc before starting the fight, and then backstab him etc to start it off (making it much easier). Also you can split up your party before moving close to him, allowing squishy characters with more range to be further back, so he can't backlash them. Ensure the character that moves forward and starts the actually battle has enough armor, and his initially attack won't matter. You can also teleport him INTO a cage btw lol.
