Ie : use a staff and have high intel for your casting, add some good warfare skills, and you have a melee staff user doing similar damage as a strength based one, but it’s all magic damage ( based on your staff damage type ) instead of normal damage.
One problem casters suffer from is the long cd’s on spells, giving them a melee focus means they can still nuke with spells but they still have some damage to dish out after the first 2 turns.
