From GOG to Steam. Is it possible?

I do not want to pay twice. I missed it on a steam sales. So, I get D O S 2 on GOG. Is it possible to activate this game on Steam? Please answer me.
GOG cloud system is awful. So, I need it here - on steam.

There is a menu choice under Games on Steam that allows yu to add non-Steam games to your library. UYou can try that.

It won't add it as a Steam game though, as advertised. So no achievements, cloud saves, etc.

Never heard about GOG to Steam transition... Only from Steam to GOG! They allow sometimes to add some games to GOG library if you linked both Libraries...

on GOG they are the same achievements, and you have also a cloud save.

meanwhile you can link steam and gog together and there are a few games that you can load into the library of GOG. i does it with witcher 2 for example, because i have witcher 1 und 3 at GOG.
D: OS 2 is unfortunately not included.

but from GOG to steam? i guess its not possible

No, it's not possible without another key.

Since you have a DRM-free key and others here do not, I can't see the developers being inclined to give you one (and not everyone who would then ask) but that is where one would need to come from.

GOG has a fairly liberal return policy, too.

It shouldn't be much of a deal to fix the save situation, even if you need to take some extra steps.
