In trouble in the impish pocket realm, Honor mode

One of two party members was left behind in the pocket realm and I stupidly turned the valve that realeased deatfog/lava thinking it was the one that switched off the constant slow.
Now I'm lying near the valve surrounded by liquid death, so is the entrance-portal into the pocket realm. What do I do?
I tried hiring an undead rogue to go in and get me, but I can't find the "winged feet" skill anywhere. so the lava is still insta-death.

Hmmm ... that sounds real tough spot; I'm on my honour run.

Have you tried your waypoint key? You should be able to jump to a waypoint, if not:

If you're talking about Spread Your Wings - there is a polymorph trader in the Black Ring group or one of the elves have it; but poly skills are def on the isle.

Does the lava start immediately when you enter where your corpse is? (not sure if your char is dead or alive from your post)
If not, you can Teleport the corpse near to you then res them; if you res them in lava they'll die again.



So get Spread Your wings, and TP the corpse towards you then res him, then escape.

Hope you get through it.
One of the things I did when I was considering an Honour run was obsessive googling 'Honour wipes', so I could see instawipe situations.
I really hope you get out of this, and your very lucky your other guy didn't die.

Most people wipe there, as Lava kils undead.

Fingers crossed you get out.
I just got into Arx after having real trouble with Void fight outside Arx.

Plan B is to have over 100 fire resist. You are immune to lava effects, so.. potions / flaming skin (poly + pyro source book combo) Whatever gets you OVER 100. Then lava wont do any damage to you, you will need a couple potions but, you can safely deal with the lava that way.

After extensive searching, hair-pulling, help from friends etc, we managed to salvage the situation.
Hire an undead mercenary, remap for mage with points in aero, necro and poly, use living on the edge, spread your wings and tornado, activate the first 2 spells and immediately tp into the pocket realm, open a small gap in the lava with the tornado, and go from there.

I actually didn't know that. I thought lava was instakill regardless of resists. Thanks for the tip

We thought about that, but don't you need a clear patch of terrain to swap it to? What if every tile is lava+deathfog?
