How do I do non lethal damage?
I have been on F8 forever. I'll reload the battle cause Natalie dies of... everything including AoO from sumonings. But anyway to avoid this?

unequip your weapon and punch her

I think for that quest you need to have someone with the Scholar tag like Red Prince or Fane talk to the doctor before starting the fight.

Without someone to notice a particular detail, that requires the scholar tag, you cannot save her in this quest as no one has the medical knowledge to notice her situation.

It’s annoying as the tags never really play much role throughout the game. The scholar tag is probably the most relevant to the point that you should always have it in your party.

There is no non-lethal damage however. Even a punch will kill her if her health depletes.

if the option to save her is unlocked, you just need to not deal too much damage in 1 attack

Thanks everyone. I did save her. I'm playing Fane as a fighter so I unequipped his axe and punched her. I had no issues with the tags.

Its just that I kept doing too much damage initially and I was wondering if there was a straight out "Dont do lethal damage" option. It's more curiosity for further use.

I've feel like I've tried every combination of the operation and she dies every time. Goggle comes up with different results that don't work. What is the order to complete the operation successfully? I'm playing Definitive Edition if that matters?

I used:

- Ask the guy to hold her head (he has to be close or that wont trigger had to reload)
- Gently pick the maggot
- Slowly patch her up

Im playing Definitive too. Playing Fane so I must have had that mystic option earlier -dont remember. Maybe you dont have mystic? From what I read you cant save her if you dont
