Dismissing a character?
I wanted to remove Ifan for a moment to recruit sebille so she can talk to the dreamer, I read if you dismiss they go back to where you found them, but he didn't (i was stood by griff I don't know if it was too close) and he also took everything in his bags...do you get them back again?

ofc u can take 'em back. If you still in fort joy, he'll be near the chick that can remove ur collar. Otherwise he is in amadia's sanctuary.
If Sebille isn't in your party, why are you trying to do her origin quests? If you were hoping to do all six characters quests in one playthrough, well, that isn't possible because of reasons.

It's simpler to just pick a party of four and stick with them the whole game, and save the others for a later playthrough.

Not the MC's fault how the party members interact huehueuehue. Some see a soldier lizard vendor, I see an insubordinate lizard that deserves a slap, ez warrior skill books and weapon.

I mean, thats a very poor way of getting them. Using all the origin characters you don't want to use as shadowblades just stealing instead yields much more than killing someone ever could. Do it right and you can leave act one with all the gear you can eat, 100-200k gold to go with it and 1-6 copies of every skillbook you can get in that act.

Where is the fun in stealing when you can interact and make something happen in the world? I don't like stealing much, makes the game easier and it requires you to spend civil points in it. But a good lizard slap to the face is free and effective. Though I guess with that logic such interactions would still render free items, just not as much as stealing. I mean I love stealing in games, always pick rogue characters, I just don't like when stealing breaks the game to the point where it makes everything extremely easier. Like for example Skyrim stealing, it helps but it's not a huge impact, just some coins, potions and crafting ingredients.

Now that I think about it, a lot of things in this game feel cheap in terms of lowering the difficulty of things.

If its there, if you can do it, it was intended to be done. Ain't nothin cheap about it.

Yeah I know, I'm just not keen of using things that make the game extremely easier than it has to be. For some people it might be good having that feeling, but for me all it does is lower the effort I have to put into the game and I get bored fast.
