Found a disappointing little inconsistency
So I rediscovered the beautiful Divine Spark 2h Axe, that deals fire damage (like a staff) but is based on strength rather than intellect. It's very cool.

But I was super excited by the interaction between Flesh Sacrifice (which creates a pool of blood at your feet) and Divine Spark automatically setting Bleed Fire on the wielder.

Thought process: Bleed Fire literally says that those affected "bleed fire when hit." And before anyone points it out, I realize it says "when hit."
However, I think it makes perfect sense that if my character is literally bleeding fire, that when I use Flesh Sacrifice and bleed myself, it should be fire. After all, I'm bleeding fire.

Alas, Flesh Sacrifice bleed regular blood - even though he's permanently bleeding fire.
I'm wondering -- since there are at least two more patches scheduled due to Gift Bags -- if maybe, pretty please, characters who have Flesh Sacrifice can bleed fire instead of blood when they have Divine Spark equipped? It would make logical sense, and it would make Elemental Affinity so much easier to obtain.

Thanks for reading!

If they "fix" that then there would be no reason to use anything but elves at that point tbh. Flesh Sacrifice is already strong as it is and would require a rebalance if this was implemented. If anything I'd vote for Flesh Sacrifice to not drop blood, but that would render fun obscure builds useless sadly. An innate skill shouldn't have that much impact IMO.

Edit: IMO, could make Flesh Sacrifice drop whatever blood you have, 0 cost, no AP gain, 10% damage stays the same. The main issue with Flesh Sacrifice is the AP gain tbh.

Flesh Sacrifice causes you to bleed, technically undead elves who use it should bleed poison, honestly. If the ability gets looked at, it should be buffed and debuffed accordingly.
You laugh at class unbalance when you can have a million of skin graff scrolls that cost 0 ap to cast and a Lohse with infinite party encouraging haste that lasts 5 turns.
