Necro is cursed. You have to throw blessed water on it to remove it, or use bless on it. My usual method for removing it was blessed water baloons

How about the tornado spell, does it remove necrofire, I hate to waste source power.

Ya thats true. Once you get tornado, use that instead. Its +1 AP, but it clears way more. Once you get tornado its probably only best to use water balloons to remove surface+debuffs

Throw dust also works. You just need to combine a huntsman and Geo book together to get it.

Throw dust is also probably the more useful of the two. Tornado clears more, but throw dust has a variety of other good uses.
Is there seriously a pocket sand spell in Divinity 2? xD

Blood puts out Hellfire. That's the special fire the guy in the Gargoyle maze is afflicted by, pretty sure you don't see it anywhere else.

Yeah, and it's honestly really good. Also has a multi target aoe source version. Combine a geomancer book and a huntsman book to get it. If either geo or hunts book is a source skill, you'll get the bigger version of it. The character using it needs 1 point in each for normal version, 2 per for the big version.

It does small aoe damage similar size and amount to fossil strike, but clears ALL surfaces it hits, and blinds targets with no magic armor left after the attack. AoE version is 1 source point and 3AP, does the same but to all targets in range, while ignoring friendlies.

I thought blood rain converted necrofire to normal fire.

Nope. BR will put out normal fire I believe, but not necrofire.
