e.g. I tried this. No success.
Or do i have to read these books first? Can i not succeed just giving the right answers?
1. Obtain and Read all of the books, doing so will add an additional answer to each of the 3 questions (Should be the 3rd option each time, iirc).
2. The person who attempts it without reading any books must be Undead. picking the [UNDEAD] option for each question will be sufficient to beat him at his game.
2.5. Apparently Lohse ([JESTER] + [MYSTIC]) can do it without reading any books if she has also gained the [VILLAIN] tag.
You don't technically need to read all the books, just the ones your character's tags don't cover. To use Lohse as an example again: She can answer the 1st question with the [JESTER] option, the 2nd with the [MYSTIC] option, so she only needs to read Volume 3 to get the answer for the 3rd question)
Overall, don't stress about every quest in the game. There's lots of opportunity to reach level 20 in the final chapter. The exp difference from 20 to 21 is massive and gaining that extra level doesn't amount to much.
My level 20 non Lone Wolf Blood Mage killed the final boss crew in one turn.
