If you start a new game with the same mods active, save and reload, do you get this error? Don't move from the starting position, or it can trigger an auto save, which can overwrite one from your current playthrough.
If a new game in your current profile gives this error, create a new profile and start a new game with one mod active, then save and reload, to check if you get this error. If not, try enabling a couple/few more mods and test again. If you are using a large number of mods, it may be faster to enable half and test: if there is no error, enable half the remaining mods and retest; if enabling half the mods gives the error, disable half of those mods and retest. Doing either repeatedly should help narrow down the conflict.

also try the normal stuff, verify steam files, delete and re-install, restart computer, etc.
There's a guide on workshop that gives proper load order which i followed as well. The culprit is the mod called "Recruit companions with class mods" after disabling that it worked just fine.
now granted that might not be your problem but that was mine / how i fixed it
