Fane as well :-) I always liked the idea of being undead, i had this idea of a sorta 'heroic lich' and the story seems to be reflecting that (i'm not that far in just got away from the fort joy island)

I would suggest either Fane or Lohse.

Fane, well because he's undead. Everything that undead is cool, either they have achieved what mortals cannot, or they are just simply a creature beyond human understanding. This is just my opinion.

For Lohse, i never actually try to play with her, but many said that she has one of the best dialogue choices, namely sarcasm. She also has quite humorous nature, again, mostly sarcasm humour. Her story is also considered to be one of the best, if not the best by many people.

Fane, I just wanted to make a necromancer that summoned skeletons and used poison like in Diablo 2. I was disappointed by bloated corpse and pretty much everything necromancer related, necromancy tree was not what I expected. Gave up and made a human rogue.

I always play as a female character when I have a choice, and I prefer rougue or mage class over others so Sebille was a natural choice for me.

Fane is the poster child for the game and according to the lore bits on the concept art book, hes the special one that will likely be the fan favorite.

Personally I love the Red Prince. Hes way more complicated than he lets on and you get to bang a lizard... so thats pretty cool,

But its an amazing game, so hell, play all of them!

I prefer playing as custom characters, usually an elf or lizard (just seem kind of interesting and helps to balance out the fact that, of the 6 origin characters 3 are human). I like having a blank slate.

I second the person who said playing as or taking The Red Prince, he has something to do in every act, I find him and his quests interesting and enjoyable, if nothing else they provide more insight into lizard culture, which is otherwise, relatively absent.

At first I went with a custom character, but then I found my custom character was basically just Fane so when I restarted after getting a better grip on the mechanics I went with Fane. His story so far is the most interesting to me with the Red Prince being second. My only concern with being Fane is wondering if I'm actually getting less insight into his story as I can't ask him questions like I can with Red Prince.

Custom lizard named shadescale. I started him off as a mage, but then realized I wanted him to be a rogue, after I thought of a backstory. Now I'm trying to get through act 1, but I also realize now I should of listened to everyone's advice and gone aero/hydro, since I can't find the worm tendril spell anywhere
