Question about Act 2 Scarecrow Loot
I´m at lvl 9 with my chars and I still farm the scarecrow for a good item.
But I only get pants or a rod. I know there is a x% to get a rare item from enemies, it´s still random.
Does anyone know which items I can get from him, I only know from 5 times pants or rod but I don´t need them.

I had a thread here few weeks ago about a secret chest and his loot. It took me over 50 times to open it/reload this dungeon to get my OP crossbow.

Honestly? It is either random or not worth the effort you're putting in. Gear is replaced too frequently to be worth that effort and if you head in to high level areas you can snag a few pieces you'll not replace for quite some time.

I'd suspect looting functions on a sort of seed system where going to that same fight in a different game isn't going to yield the same results.

Either way, going that far to get the ideal item just isn't worth bothering. You need new gear too often. Your weapon might be perfect, but as soon as you level up, a new weapon of the same rarity with no stats that match your build is going to be better. The base damage increase will do more for you than the stats with it. Pretty much every time. Its rare that a lower level item, no matter the stats, is better than the item a level higher.

Hm, I have some old stuff and the stats help me more than the base damage/armor. I have so many x% chance to make an effect, one or two items with 50/100%. That helps me more to kill enemies with AOE Damage than the 20/30 base damage on a new weapon.

But I spend 30mins to farm a stronger boss for a good item than sell it for few gold.
I had a new item last try (dagger) but I don´t need it. I´ll try it later again until I have a good weapon or armor part.
I have the sword from the dragon and I think I´ll keep it for a while because the stats..
I can ignore more damage if I can stun and make more aoe... That´s my opinion

I mean, for mages yeah. The damage is irrelevant. But any class that actually uses their weapon, the base damage is better 95% of the time. There's a few exceptions, but at most its only a level. Still, its not worth the 30 minutes you'd spend reloading.
So I have an example now, I got a sword with has more base damage but worse stats. Sorry for the language but for me, I´ll keep my sword.

The one on the right is better. Though for 1H and shield its irrelevant as the damage it deals is trash anyway. So in that case, the stats can be more useful. 1H builds deal next to no damage to begin with.

On a two handed weapon, bow, dagger or other weapon, the one on the right is better. But 1H just doesn't compare.
