Swornbreaker: Windego & Sadha (Quests)

As I have given my own crafted Swornbreaker to my travelling black ring wench, I am now in possession of the Swornbreaker of the late Lord Linder Kemm. However, I heard that I can use it to grant Mercy to Windego (Quest Mercy is Power) and I planned to do that, but now I recently also learned that I need a Swornbreaker to rescue Sadha in the Red Prince questline in the Consulate. Do I need a Swornbreaker to bring the Red Prince quest to a satisfying ending? I planned on uniting the two for those dragon babies, but if it costs a Swornbreaker I cannot save Windego any longer... :-/

I don't recall needing the swornbreaker at all to save Sadha.

I'm think that you can give Windego a broken swornbreaker, and still save her.

Swornbraker can be used by (one of your) character(s) and then can still be given tot he respective questgivers to complete their quests without any trouble. After giving it for a quest I think they can be pickpocketed (if you can manage it, and you may need to boost your Thievery above 5)

Well it turns out, Sadha only asks for the Swornbreaker if you have it in your inventory and the outcome is the same, apart from her severing the Covenant with the God King of course, but the rest of the quest stays the same, no extra XP, rewards or anything. So I just dropped it in the Oasis, spoke to Sadha, picked it up again and returned to reality to go for Windego ;)

If you do not have it, you don't lose attitude with Red Prince for refusing to give it to her. And she says she just stays in the Dream while the Red Prince should venture forth to kill the God King.

I just managed to save both Sadha and Windego with a single Swarnbreaker. It might be a bug, but here's what I did:

1. Get the Swownbreaker from Kemm's vault WITHOUT releasing Windego from her cage and having not met Sadha at all.
2. Release Windego from her cage and give her the swarnbreaker. She uses it to break her covenant with the god king and and kills herself. Loot the broken swarnbreaker from her body.
3. Go through the Portal of Dreams and meet Sadha. She will accept the broken swarnbreaker and use it to break her covenant with the god king.

I'm on Definitive edition 3.6.117.3735; not sure if this works in Classic, and since it might be a bug it might also not work in other Definitive editions.
