my inventory is a mess
well i can say i just started game, arrived fort joy took red prince and undead guy then went straightly to some cave with elfs, trying to do quests.
1- i feel i have a lot of useless item in my inventory. like shells, logs do they have any use? how i will know which item will be useful in craft later or now?
2- is there a fast way to teleport for like treasures in this cave? i can't reach them by foot.
3- lastly i'm open the general suggest for new dos player:)

Good luck with that, it's just the beginning. Sell the food, it's pretty much useless. Keep logs and wood in general, especially if you have an archer, you'll be able to craft arrows. You'll have to check some crafting guide if you want to know what you're supposed to keep. But the item menuing is a nightmare in this game.

Yes, there is a teleportation spell.

For general advices, I wrote a post a few days ago, you could check that, there is some infos:

1. I generally try to pick up all misc items with one character dedicated to that. You can look up a list of crafting recipes and make a note of what you may want to make but honestly, crafting isn’t very useful outside of the super early game and spellbooks.

2. Using the teleport spell is one of the easier ways. You can find a pair of gloves on some crocodiles at level 3 that give your character the spell.

3. Anything is viable. Just have fun with your builds. I found summoning to be my favorite skill. It’s super flexible. It can do magic or physical damage, it only scales off the summoning skill so doesn’t require any specific stat investment, and it has some great utility.

A lot of people say lone wolf is very strong. In my experience I don’t think it’s any better than a full 4 man party. I would go with a full party the first time through just to get the stories

shells are combined with long branches to craft makeshift staves. thats all the use they have as far as I know.

if you run an archer, you'll want to pick up long branches, short sticks etc to combine with a knife to craft into arrow shafts. also keep teeth from corpses. those combined with a knife make shocking arrowheads.

you can also make teleport scrolls with a feather+air essence+sheet of paper. you can get feathers by using a knife on cushions etc. thats about as far as I've taken crafting. Oh, and you can combine a sheet of paper with a water and life essence to make a resurrection scroll.

A handy one in the early game is Needle + Thread = Needle&Thread, then Needle&Thread + Leather Scraps = Makeshift Leather Armor. This armor is always made at your level, so it's an easy way to keep your gear up to date in the early game without spending money. It's equal strength to anything you're likely to encounter before level 6-8. All of the materials can be purchased from Nebora or some others in Fort Joy for <20 gold per suit of armor.

Most of the makeshift weapons are decent until about level 6 as well. Don't let the names fool you (Twig with a String, etc.). These are all okay weapons.

There aren't that many powerful craftable items, but there's a few that are quite useful.

This is genius; but I enjoy stealing too much to make use of it.
