Weird Gareth bug during Call to Arms
So I saved Gareth, found the wand, then told him. He told his Seekers to move out and start the last part of Call to Arms. However, he bugged out, did not leave the Sanctuary and became uninteractable. I could examin and cast spell on him, but I could not trigger dialogues. Talking to Exeter sounds as if the game thinks Gareth is at the harbor, but he is not, so there's no dialogue to tell the Seekers to attack the harbor.

Has anyone encountered this bug before? Once I kill Alexandar, should things go back to normal? Annoyingly enough, I never encountered these weird glitches back in classic edition.

Most likely killing Alexandar and proceeding will reset the problem.

Please email supportdos2@larian.com with your latest save in Fort Joy (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc), as well as the most recent save before Gareth became uninteractive and the oldest after. If you are using any mods, also include a list of those enabled and/or the modsettings.lsx from your profile folder.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames\Story' folder.
In Windows Explorer you can zip a file or folder by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder' (and similarly in OSX/Finder).

Hi Raze,

Thanks a lot for contacting me. For latest save in Fort Joy, you mean before killing Alexandar and escaping with Malady, right?
