pc specs
Yesterday i buy the game and don't have a chance to try it out yet due to work.
I have a rx 590
8 gb ram
phenom ii x4 965 be
installed into a ssd
How will this game runs? i have to buy cpu moba ram soon so i stick with this phenom until then, i play spellforce 3 and it runs awful but playable on my pc due to the bottleneck /their bad optimization (?)

It will be playable but I suggest you to wait a bit until the upgrade to a better CPU. I mean Ryzen 2600 costs not that much now and will offer a very balanced performance/price ratio, 3600 is like 10-15% faster but costs like 50-70% more in my country at the moment =/
Any Intel core processor with 6+ cores will also be enough.

I played and completed D:OS 2 Classic version in 4K resolution with GTX 1080TI and core i5 2500K @4600 MHz or so, sometimes there were really unpleasant drops in performance in battles, especially with a lot of explosions. And the city of Arx... ugh, it was quite painful to be honest. And Phenom II x4 is like a lot slower than core i5 2500K, I know because I have upgraded from Phenom II X4 955 to core i5 2500K in 2011.

Core i5 8600K runs Divinity: Original Sin 2 like a charm with 60 fps in 4K with GTX 1080TI, no drops whatsoever.
Tested 4 cores core i3 8100 in Arx city a year ago or so - had some drops to 50-54 fps. It's definitely the right time to buy 6-8 cores.

i hope not so much, ad example i can run ark survival evolved at 50 to 75 fps with combined settings (all hight to epic(ultra) ) and probably is the heaviest game i ever play (in term of gb and graphics etc)

You'll be fine, I'm running a similar setup of a decent gpu with an old cpu (GTX 1060 6GB + FX-6350) and I'm easily running the game on medium-high quality (high models etc. with medium lighting-shadows etc.) without any performance issues. The only problems I had is that sometimes if there is a sh*t ton of oil on the ground and it gets set on fire, or a lot of barrels exploding at once, there can be a split second game freeze.

Thank you for the reply, i hope ill get the same experience like yours even if i think your cpu is a bit faster than mine, i hope is not like spellforce 3 (20 fps on open area's / rts gameplay and 75 + in caves 😂)

Ill watch this video now, thanks a lot, i want to buy a ryzen 5 2600 setup in october if i can't wait the blackfriday on november, though i don't think ill save a lot anyway, i mainly play on a 1080p resolution and i also buyed a 1080 p 27" 75hz freesync monitor last month too, so i guess no 1440p or maybe yes because i can choose 2k or 4kon spellforce, don't know why, i could try a ryzen 7 2000 something but i think i will get better performance with the r 5 2600 because is a better pair for the rx590. (i need to buy moba ram and a new case, no chances to upgrade mine also because my current moba doesn't support tbe fx 8350... if it was supported i could just fit this bad boy in and save a lot of money after).

The only problem about this video is he doesn't have a cpu bottleneck because he have agood combo of gpu and gpu, mine right now is too good for my cpu to handle it

First of all, this combo of Ryzen r5 2600 + RX 590 will be quite good for a while, you will definitely be able to play most of the games on high\max settings in 1080p. Add some 2x8GB 3200 MHz DDR4 Ram with CL 16 timings and you'll be fine.
If you see a good deal for r5 3600 by Black Friday, it will be even better and should probably last like 4-5 years from now on without any problem (but it depends on the new gen consoles). You can even buy some faster RAM like 3600 MHz with CL 16/17 if the price difference is not significant.

Another point, there is actually no such thing as "bottleneck":
- in some games your cpu will be loaded like 20-30% and gpu will be used at 99% most of the time;
- in other games (some ports from consoles, big open world games or when using emulators) you will see 80-95% usage of your CPU while the GPU will be used like 50-70% - although it's a more rare case, most of current games are limited by GPU performance rather than CPU.
I mean, yes, Phenom II x4 doesn't let your GPU to show it's full potential because it's a very old CPU, however, if you try to run some games in 2160p resolution - they will be ugly limited by the video card performance))

Well right now my gpu is in vacation with my phenom, it never goes near 80% ever most of the times it stays on 0/20‰ while the cpu is crazy high to 100 % , but still it will better to buy a ryzen 5 3k but that mean i have to buy a moba that have the bios for it and right now they are pretty expansive add the ryzen and i will go to the 400 euro i think + ram and case and fans im up to 550 and i don't want to spend that many right now im earn 600 a month until my tryal is ended(slavery for statal compensation for the boss for 6 months) 😂, instead i will spend around 300 or less with ryzen 5 2600, ram case etc

Well, I can't say the price difference is that big in Ukraine, but if in your case the difference is about $200 or even $250, then r5 2600 is a no brainer for sure.
Actually with rx 590 there would be no difference in FPS between 2600 and 3600 when playing on the highest settings, only something like at least RX 5700XT from AMD or RTX 2070/2080/2080ti would show 10% difference between these 2 CPUs.

Oh good, another east europe neighbor :D
Anyway, for me the r5 2600 is the best option, im not aiming anything crazy, im more than happy to have the game running without major frame drops etc, in all my life i never trow away a pc, i used them until they die, my first pc was a cheap one, i don't remember the pieces in it, it was a prebuild one i played on it gta vice city gta 3,the epic vietcong 2 and other super old games, then the second one had a gt 8600 512 mb, 2gb of ram(it supposed to have 4 but my uncle stole a stick 😂, at the time i don't even know what a ram was) and a core 2 duo something, and my first upgrade on it was a gtx 730..then after 8 years or more, i buy my current pc (used from a friend in romania for 100 euro) this one had a gtx 750 ti but i wasn't super happy and i used it for two years before this rx590 :). The only downside in romania people sell those pieces (used, like new) and is a lot if you work there like me in the past, fortunately i was a baker so i earned a lot more than normal by working 12/14 on night shifts on a super market, if i just waited a bit more i could put another 100/200 euro for a new pc with good pieces, 580 ryzen 5 etc but the 100 euro for this pc was a big deal.
I can't say much about ucraine but i know how is to live there, like romania 10 years ago, now is a bit better but still hard to work and live alone there

Well, after using mostly low end components for so long, having a very solid mid tier components like r5 2600 with RX 590 will be an experience unlike before.
Anyway, you can still try DoS 2 and see how it goes with the current build, Act 1 is about 10-12 hours long for a newcomer if you want to explore the island and it's secrets, but the locations are not that big, and in terms of performance it is significantly better than Act 2 and especially the last city in the game.

Enjoy the game!

Sure, would be very interesting cause it's rare to see such not typical CPU/GPU combo in 2k19.

Well, for now the menu was fantastic,115 fps hahah (it really is ,some games have like 15 fps on the menu)i close the game because i think i choose the classic version and not definitive

I played on my fossilized Phenom II x970, 8GB RAM, HHD, & GTX 470 a couple months ago. It was playable but I had to set minimum graphics. It didn't run smoothly but it was playable and I was able to finish the game. I think you should be fine running this game.
