The game has encountered an unrecoverable Direct X error and will shutdown
It is because the mod I installed in the game? I orginally had both long spirit vision and infinite spirit vision. But I think they might conflict with each other so I disable the infinite spirit vision mod. And then after a while the game start to crash like that. I am not very sure if it has anything to do with that because I also disabled the cheat commander mode. Has anyone encountered a situation like that?

I don't recall of any DirectX errors connected to disabling mods, so it is probably a coincidence.
How often does it crash? You could test by creating a new profile and starting a new game without mods, assuming your current game will crash if you load a save in Fort Joy. If Fort Joy is fine and only saves since Reaper's Coast crash, for example, it wouldn't be feasible to test in a new game.

Did you try shutting down all non-essential programs, etc, before starting the game?
One person with unspecified DirectX errors (the game froze rather than cash, and they couldn't click on the error message) found that it was caused by Windows 10's game mode notifications; disabling those fixed the problem.

A couple of game updates ago, one person reported getting a different DirectX error (device removed) on a monitor with a 144Hz refresh rate, but could avoid it limiting the game to 60FPS. That issue should be fixed, but you could try setting an FPS cap or lowering the game resolution or settings, and switching to windowed or fake fullscreen display mode, to see if that makes a difference (in early development builds, some people in QA occasionally got that error when running multiple instances of the game, or running the editor and game at the same time).

Try exiting out of the Steam client, and starting the game directly from the '..\SteamApps\common\Divinity Original Sin 2\DefEd\bin\EoCApp.exe' program file, by right clicking and running as administrator (or '..\Divinity Original Sin 2\Classic\EoCApp.exe' for the original release).

Try right clicking the executable, select Properties, switch to the Compatibility tab and check off the 'Override high DPI scaling behavior' option (set it to Application), maybe run as administrator and disable fullscreen optimization, and set a Win 7 or 8 compatibility mode.

Try verifying local files: in the Steam library, right click on the game and select Properties, switch to the Local Files tab and then click on the 'Verify Integrity of Game Cache...' button.

Try doing a clean boot and then test the game. Click Start, or hit WinKey-R, type in msconfig and hit enter; in the General tab, click Selective Startup, uncheck Load startup items (if required) and leave Load system services and Use original boot configuration options checked. Next, click on the Services tab, check the box to Hide all Microsoft services, then click the Disable All button (maybe make a note of which are currently enabled/disabled), then click OK and reboot the computer.
Run msconfig again to switch back to the normal boot configuration.

Check for updated graphics drivers, or if you have the latest, maybe try a clean reinstall (see here[www.tomshardware.com] or here[www.tweakguides.com], for example).

Several people have reported fixing the 'device removed' DirectX error by using MSI Afterburner[event.msi.com] to slightly underclock their graphics card[forums.geforce.com] ('lower both the "Core Clock" and "Memory Clock" options by around 100 (so they say -100). Apply and close.').

I'm not sure it that would help for the unrecoverable error, though. One person with the unrecoverable error who found a couple of topics on the 'device removed' error (see below), reported that it was fixed by overriding high DPI scaling in the Compatibility for the executable, combined with the program TDR Manipulator.

The D:OS EE topics:

DXGI ERROR Crash - turned WIN 10 conflict[larian.com] (reverting back to Win 8 avoided the problem)

DXGI device removed error/CreateTexture2D failed[larian.com] (fixed by a clean reinstall of the video drivers)

As mentioned in the second topic, the program TDR Manipulator[forums.geforce.com] can change a Windows setting to control if and how Windows restarts the video drivers. Telling Windows to stop the resets may eliminate crashes with the game, though if there is an actual problem causing the resets it will not be fixed, and could potentially lead to the computer freezing.
