electrifying water
What is the deal with casting a lightning spell at water? Sometimes it creates a shock surface, sometimes it does nothing. It seems like if there is an enemy standing in the water at all most of the time it will shock an enemy or two in the water but it doesn't electrify the water itself. Sometimes it creates the shock surface but most of the time it doesn't as long as at least one enemy is standing in the water at the time. That's like if oil wouldn't ignite unless no one was standing in it, it totally defeats the point of zapping the water. Is this intended or yet another unfixed bug?

Electrified water shouldn't last like how fire does since it would apply shocked to enemies every turn and stun if they tried to move. IMO it would make it OP.

If a target is shocked, as a result of walking through electrified water, the water typically loses the status since it's stunned a target ( in the case of zero magic armour ) - this lasts 2 turns like normal fire.

If the targets walk through / stop and have magic armour, the status remains as the charge is not consumed.

If the goal is to stun people, I honestly recommend water balloons and rain, not blood. Anything to set the 'WET' status as it tends to work better than the 'SHOCKED' status first. Don't ask me why, it just does.

If anyone in the water lacks magic armor, they absorb the shock. If the shock gets absorbed you have to shock it again. The key is to cast a shock spell directly on the enemy with no armor. As long as you make them wet, the spell will stun that enemy without also consuming the shock to the water. Making things wet is king. Everything should be wet always if you are an Aero mage.
