Fort joy arena still bugged?

In multiplayer, me and a buddy did the arena fight and he died but I won it. We get out, she tells me I might be the one, but the tinkerer lady won't take my collar off and the quest log says we lost even though we won the fight and the arena boss is telling me I'm the one and to go see the tinkerer who has no new dialog options....

edit: we dueled each other to see if that would change anything and it doesn't. Neither of us have the arena champion tag. Is this going to screw up all the other arena quests?

Reload from an earlier save. Usually for me when I play with someone else at the end of the arena fight we choose to duel right there when prompted, when that's over the arena lady wants us to duel again (As if for some reason the first duel doesn't count) and then the quest is completed. Don't know why it happens or why it was never fixed.

Maybe your problem is that you chose not to duel after the arena fight and somehow it breaks the quest when attempting to duel in the arena?

It's faster to simply find out who wants the collar off first (doesn't really matter in my opinion) and just have everyone else say no and the one who gets the collar off to say yes.
The arena chick will ask if you want to fight again as you 'may not be the one' for some reason, but just say no and it will go ahead as usual. (as per my experience)
You still get quest completion XP.

If you still have your saves there, please email [e-mail] with one after the arena with this problem, and the most recent save before the arena (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc). If you are using any non-Larian mods, also include a list of those enabled and/or the modsettings.lsx file from your profile folder.
Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2 Definitive Edition\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames\Story' folder.
In Windows Explorer you can zip a file or folder by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipped) Folder' (and similarly in OSX/Finder).
