Cant get the arena tag to remove collar

I am playing with a friend and we did the arena and i defeated him in the second round but none of us got the champion tag, when i talk to thola she just say we do not fight more today.

Nebora, the tinkerer outside is the one that removes your collar. However, other than to equip an amulet a bit early, there isn’t much reason to get it removed until you can do so for the whole party.

Have talked to nebore and she refuses to do it. looked online and it says that i need the champion tag.

Don't worry about it, you'll get all your collars removed before the end of ACT1 and source is so rare for much of the game that you'll almost never have enough for it to matter.

I would still like to know why this is happening because it has happened 3 times in a row now.

coz you guys are not doing it properly most likly, Its best to do the Normal Arena battle and battle the mobs inside the arena as a group before trying to fight each other for a tag, Best to sometimes just let one person get it and not care.

Pretty sure he means that you guys should pick whichever of you is gonna get the tag, then have the other ones say they will not fight their allies so you don't battle each other.

I just go, took my Prince to fight, choose that we go whole party to Arena, and won with NPCs and do not fihght each other. And only Prince got collar off.

Yes, only the "winner" gets the collar removed from the arena. So whoever you choose to win get it removed while the others must wait til later.
