tips for doctor fight

tried the fight at lvl 19 and I didnt die but I didnt think I would win now im almost lvl 21 and have killed kemm so I think its time to kill doctor now any tips for fighting him he seems like a pain in the ass. thanks

1) Kill him before he transforms. (use a high dmg spell / attack to get his armor down and then CC him)
2) If you don't want to do the first one, drink fire resistance potions (his Supernova deals high amount of dmg, it can one shot you)
3) Depending on where you came from (cellar or front doors), try to lure him into a smaller room (so you don't get attacked from many sides).
4) Don't have your characters too close to each other (Supernova is AOE spell).

before he transforms? the second the fight starts for me he transforms. that good idea never thought of fire resistance potions awesome thanks for the tips. im also gonna try killing the nurses before he gets near me

You can attack him before speaking to him, that way you can easily kill him without him transforming.

I started the fight further away by attacking the nurses first. Tried to pick them off one by one before the doctor got too close.

i teleported most of the nurses outside so it was only the doctor and 2 nurses took them down so easily the fire resistance potions helped so much thanks for the tip :D

The best way to cheese the fight. Have something that makes Lohse Immune to Charm. I didnt plan for this at all, but by a coincidence I had a headgear with immune to charm. Which makes the fight easy peasy. Because all he focus from the Doctor is trying to charm her and when he cant do that, his turn will end. So basically it makes him obsolete. I took out the doorman and the 2 nurses first. Then I went in and stood on a distance and took out all his helpers first, started with the last 2 nurses. In the end it was just killing him slowly, rinse repeat.
Because he dosnt do anything when Lohse is immune to Charm:)

First tip, open the barter menu with him while talking to him, but prior to fighting (unless he is still hostile on sight). Buy any potions of resistance that might weaken your team to prevent him from using them against you. Then give him potions and foods that are basically worthless to him if he uses as he'll often waste a turn or two just eating and drinking.

Secondly, you can use his minions against him. Craft a mind maggot grenade and try to strip magic armor off his minions. I've done this such that I charmed about 7 of the demons and nurses, letting them soak his attacks for me as well as dishing out damage for me.

Lastly, go collect a bunch of chairs, paintings, barrels and crates. You can pile them up as walls before initiating the fight (or do it by sneaking in if they're hostile) and block his nurses and demons from being able to move towards you. This can buy you valuable one on one time with him, giving you the breathing space to try and take him out without worrying about his minions.

thanks for the tip but I actually beat Him months ago lol I teleported most of his nusrses outside killed them then it was only the Dr and like 2 other nurses which was super easy to handle. A lot of enemies can be cheesed by teleporting them I find but thanks for the tips I alaways forget about how op charm can be

Can that appear as an affix on random items, or is it a unique one-off thing?

This, This and This. Fastly crafting a Potion of Strong Will and using it in the fight, the demon did nothing but trying to charme her. Casting Thunderstorm into the mob group stunned and damage the other ones. Incredible easy fight this way.
(Level 20, classic difficulty, saved the souls, got 2 achievements.)

The easiest way to avoid Lohse being charmed is to have Cyrogenic Stasis. Let Lohse cast that on herself one turn before Doctor actually charms her. That stasis provides immune to charmed

I didn't snuff the candles and in the DE edition he transforms before the fight so I couldn't CC him to prevent him from taking over Lohse. So I cheesed... HARD.
I divided the party and started the conversation with Loshe, then took the rest of my gang and killed all of the nurses not in the conversation.
Just killing the nurses wasn't enough to give me the edge I needed though, so I then TP'ed all of the nurse corpses (5) right next to the Dr, and just before kicking off the fight made sure that my mage would win initiative.
The fight started with a Mass corpse explosion that knocked out 2 of the Drs minions, torched his armor and kicked the demon down to 1/2 life. Demon was dead before the end of round one and the rest was just cleanup.
Super-cheese but ohhh the explosion was glorious.

"Oh, nothing... let's keep talking about my soul".

the doctor is the archetypal secret boss of the game thats harder than the actual boss of the game. This fight will be hard, harder than alice and her nuke cheese strat, harder than a teenager on prom night.

My suggestion is looking up min/max builds. Other than that, you're going to need pure skills even when using the shadowblade stealth cheese tactic or the lohse anti-charm tactic. You're not going to defeat her on the first playthrough if you're new.

For some reason I casted dome of protection and they couldn't attack me, they just skiped their turn over and over again.
