Final Boss Fight - Just cannot seem to beat this thing

So I fight Lucian and and knock out Dallis first thing which then warps me to the Kraken/Braccus Rex fight.

However, The Kraken gets a turn before two of my four characters, and blast them with one of the most brutal attacks in the game and they barely survive. Then Braccus drops a meteor shower before the last one has had a turn.

I revive one and attempt to keep fighting only to get nuked by that Kraken again.

Anyone have any tips?

The Kraken only summoned a handful of souls as I didn't absorb that many cause I always suspected this would happen :)

Honestly, by the time I got to that fight I was tired of long, drawn out and unbalanced fights and just downloaded a godmode cheat mod.

I can say that while some fights have been difficult, a couple of retries, I've been able to find a strategy but this one is kicking my ass

Hey man! Did you save before you talk to lucian in the crypt? You could say that you agree with their plans to give up your source, if you do this your only opponent will be the braccus rex and the kraken (and also the 4 charakters swarn to the black ring)! And dont worry you can refuse your decision to give up your source after the fight! Its just more easy if you only need to handle rex and the kraken if you have probs! Another thing is if you got an archer and Arrow hail (Dont know if this is the right name in english) so you can knock out the kraken in just one turn! What difficult did you play?

Take your magic user and get to a spot on one of the Platforms. When the Kraken get's close Cast Storm. You have to kill Brakus Rex or the Kraken will come back and summon more followers.

Just use dimensional door way or teleport a character there then swap places to get the platform.

I had the Kraken come back three times in battle. I coudn't get to Brakus Rex so the Kraken kept on summoning followers. I think I fought every single one of the game that was a sworn.

Ok word this helped, but I still got ♥♥♥♥♥♥ because for some reason, even with Braccus knocked down, the next round he can still get up and attack.

First off, you should pretend to side with Lucian at the beginning. What does this mean? You act like you are going to purge the source, but they will all die during the braccus and kraken fight anyways, so that won't matter. Also, don't focus on the Kraken. Killing Braccus first will destroy it and end the fight. Hit Braccus with all you have. Nuke him with all your source skills and take him down as fast as you can. For me I killed him with blood storm+grasp of the starved on one turn, Hail storm+ice break on another, and finally an arrow storm on the last which sealed the deal. You can spam your source skills all you want in this fight, so go mad with it. Ignore the souls as well.

I got Braccus to 800 health before my party gets spilled by the Kraken. DAMN YOU.

I could start the fight over but I enjoyed telling them no. Will try one more time in the all out brawl before converting to the fake ally side.

use Dallis and Lucian to kill Brakus and focus on Krakken's Followers and killing the Kraken.

Hey I beat this and my game had a bug where the enemy got two turns. before I even fought.

the Kraken had over two turns!

You can beat it!

Oh man that ending made it sound like I should have killed off all the source. Reapers Coast Starved, blackpits on fire, arx was still attacked by voidwoken. I did most of the side quests, not sure if there was a way to get a happier ending for these places. Fairly Bittersweet.
