You can kill Baladir, but that will aggro Saam and you'll have to either kill him or flee.

It offers nothing.

Maybe you could kill baladir stealthily..
or is the only way to save him is not to talk and just let him argue on for eternity..

I ported Saam away, then you can kill Baladir, Saam will walk away and disapair.
So you won't get anything out of it.
