Stonegarden Ancestor Tree

I realised for the first time that you can investigate the memories of the ancestor tree in Stonegarden. The vision implies that you should be attacked when you approach, but I can't figure out how to initiate combat. Is there something I'm missing?

I used source vampirism on one of the three spirits at the tree and I was attacked by an elf in the tree

EDIT: Worked, thanks. Wow, bit of a let down fight given the level disparity at this point, hah.

I used Spirit Vision and it brought the one character that casted it into the tree for the fight. Had to have each character cast it to get them all down there, but hey, it didn't use Source!

Using a source skill seems to trigger the fight. I've cast Bless on the tree and used Source Vampirism, both seem to trigger it.

Bless the flower that the spirits are surrounding to be more exact.

It only ported one of my characters in- but you can now interact with the flower and send your other characters in to help.
