a) Be a lizard.
b) Use Fane's mask to temporaty turn your character into a lizard.
c) Have a Red Prince with leveled persuasion in your party.
Sir, you have my respect and gratitude.
What if I play solo and fail a fuggin dialog, eh? So I don't get the continuation of a quest and hence I cannot complete it. Fine! Thank you!
Is there maybe a way to PREDICT woulld an NPC require this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ persuasion? No.
Maybe we can somehow STOP or PAUSE a dialog to defer it? No.
So the only way to workaround this ♥♥♥♥ is to SAVE it before every fuggin NPC.
This is ludicrous, really. What do we players get from this... guessing? I don't see any good reason.
And honestly, this is so annoying, that I think to stop playing it now.
you can get by without it otherwise most of the time. If you come to a situation you need it, just save before you dialog, reload, go to ship, respec, go back and complete it
dude persuasion is always important in rpgs ... dnd style games ... all of it
Dude its an rpg, wtf do you think?
Persuasion can open up multiple new merchants for you, and it's practically necessary in Arx there are just so many perswiz checks.
I often end up speccing someone for perswiz for certain things, because i've played many times so I know where/when/why its necessary.
If you don't have the game memorized, there's only two options: fully spec for persuasion, or don't at all. There's no point in half-arsing persuasion.
There are necklaces, a ring, and I believe a nobility hat, and lizards. So there are ways to get 6+. I think 6 is the max ever needed, and most are 5 needed, along with a high stat dialouge choice.
All civil skills should be invested exclusively.
You the real MVP, the mask did the trick to get me that much desired +1
No the best way to roleplay is to choose the path you yourself want to go and not build your story on stats
as an example while still on the starting ship you can get extra exp by persuading the 2 guards cowering behind a locked door and then killing them once they’re peaceful. Situations like these are all over the place. (Ofc chances are you don’t want to reach lvl 2 until you collect companions but it’s just an example)
