Increase persuasion?
what can i do too temporarily increase persuasion?

You could keep an eye out for armor pieces that have +Persuasion. Not really an ideal option to use

dont do it. aste of time. skill thievery.

believe me, skilling persuation is one of the most frustrating things you can do in this game. not having persuation does not agitate you when persuation fails, since you didnt skill it so its ok to fail. skilling it will still fail you 50-80% of the dialogs you realy want to win, making you rage at the useless stat.

Items is how you do it. There are a few amulets with +1 persuasion on them. Keep one on hand for when you need an extra push. There's a wedding ring you find in act 2 that also gives a +1. Keep it instead of giving it back to its original owner. Since its about the only non-amulet with the bonus on it, so you can use them both at the same time for a +2.

In a pinch you can use a food item or potion that boosts the stat of the persuasion option you're trying for. But those rarely give enough boost to make a difference. Also equipping gear that gives bonus to that stat.

It says that Persuasion only increases your stat by 4 per level so Lv5 Persuasion will increase the stat you're trying to use for conversation by 20. Some of the options are extremely high success cap so even that won't work. Because you also have to chose the correct option.

This doesn't technically answer your question but you could always respec and get more persuasion. Not sure if this will work, but since lizards have a +1 to persuasion stat, you could try using the shapeshifting mask to see if it gives you the +1 to persuasion.

Dont beat yourself over persuation tho. All it does is reducing exp gain.
I cant think of a single path where persuation helps us gain something.

And if you're using persuation to avoid fighting out of pure fear, you're in for a world of pain later on ... Fights wont get easier yo know

Pretty sure there are plenty of times where persuasion is beneficial, technically you can always kill the person after you persuade them, most of the times anyways, though I do think they should make persuading someone give the same XP as fighting them, but just make it so you can't double dip.

I don't think he cares about avoiding the fighting, he just wants higher persuasion for the roleplay aspect.
