What happened to item durability?
Did they decide to leave out of the finished game the item durability/repair feature but forgot to also take out the repair hammers or repair option on the merchants? Or is there something i'm missing? They even kept the loading screen tip from the first game, about weapons losing durability faster when attacking objects.

Not sure what you mean - you can find the repair hammers in the game just fine. The only time my weapons lost durability was when attacking doors and chests, though, but never in combat.
Can find also broken weapon around the world, ie the hidden camp after fort joy there has a broken weapon 0/20 durability

Repair hammers can be used outside of repairing to craft lockpicks out of nails.

I think OP is saying that he believes there is no actual durability mechanic.

OP, I thought this first as well. It appears only certain items have durability (melee only?).

I've found that I find new weapons often enough that durability doesn't factor in much.

Ok. Besides not keeping a weapon long enough to damage it, I don t think i actually saw weapons or any items with the durability stat on them. I did come across one or more completely broken weapons, but i took them for crafting materials
