How to deal with Shriekers in Blackpits?

Hi,
since the purging wand is out of charges and also the helmet, how does someone kill shriekers in chapter 2 in the Blackpits?

I was told you need a new power called vampyric something or other from the witch in town but I just teleported a character to the walkway down below and then walked up to the teleport statue from there and explored the rest of the placew.

I tried to teleport too but It went buggy and it kinda annoyed me so I try now to find a proper way to kill them. Hmmm a witch in town you say? Who could that be?

from my experience, source vampirism doesn't have the range to drain the shriekers, before they kill you.

Oh we are looking for SIVA. but where do I find her? Is she somewhere at the sawmill?
She teaches source vampirism which you can use against shriekers

Cast Invisibility (Chameleon, Potion etc...) get near the shrieker and use source vampirism, at least that's what i do.

shiva is outside driftwood, on a platform next to a hanged body. if you followed the path with the attacked prisoner transport and ended up at a spot where going left is entering driftwood, then going straight will lead you to shiva.

Just go behind them in stealth mod; source vampirism works fine.

I'm not 100% sure, but I don't think they can actually target anything behind them. So just jump behind the bastards and source vamp them.

If yours wands with "source vampirism" are empty when you are in blockpits, you have 2 or 3 posibilities to pass them :

-you can find Siva in driftwood to learn "Source vampirism" directly, but you must have some conditions before learning this skill.

that depend what shriekers you talk :
-if in the cave, you can use wings skill just before him and find a way just to the right of him (just look to the right and find a platform with a corps and a letter or use your ALT buttom to see where the paper is.

-if you speak about shriekers just before a barack, just go to the left, near a beach, and you can find a oil well, just go on it, and use wings (again) to go behind the barack. You will find a door to enter the building.
