Do "Unique" item rewards depend on level?
I got the "unique" 2h weapon from Lohar as a quest reward, that's level 12. I was level 12 when I got it.

If I didn't turn in the quest at level 12, and came back when I was level 15, would I have gotten a level 15 version with the same stats but higher base damage? Or is the level of "unique" items constant?

I'm positive that all unique items have fixed stats.

That's too bad, I really liked the unique 2h, but it was quickly outclassed by a *common* 15th level 2h that did 50% more damage.

Yeah, most unqiue weapons aren't that special or unique since you end up swapping them out with something common or such later since you outlevel previous gear quickly.

Fixed stats. They don't level up depending on when you complete the quest. You'll find some uniques that are 2 or 3 levels below you if you backtrack on doing the quests. Try to stick with gear that is around your level.

unique item rewards are complete garbage and useless after ur 1 level higher than the item. some legendary ones hold for 2 levels like the teleport gloves. thats actually one of the only memorable items in the game. and the ones you get from "some demon" in ultralategame.

item level progression and how easy i can buy a full immortal set from 2 vendors each level i reach and how they become trash one level later make items one aspect of the game you notice at around level 10-15 that sucks

Unique items are not that memorable. Neither are boss drops. Best loot is vendor every level up. Act one drops and loot by far the most useful because u are low on cash. But in act two everything u find is vendor trash.

The loot scales far too quickly for any drop to be useful. Around level 15 or so, the drops get so good that we were having Unique-quality items massively outclassed by Blue-quality items only 1 level higher. I wouldn't suggest spending money on high-end gear for the same reason, the thousands you spend on any one piece of Purple-quality gear could be spent on a whole Blue gearset next level with better stats.

Elrond: Anduril, Flame of the West, forged from the shards of Narsil.
Aragorn: What's the point, in a couple of hours any rusty sword from a random orc will be better.
