Proving Grounds quest unfinished?

Or did i just miss something?

Spoke to the undead bird who issues me a challenge to defeat the construct. Easy enough spoke to the bird again which prompts

"The spirit of the Arena Master congratulated the victor amongst us, deeing them worthy of being called "The One". A good omen for the final challenges before the Well of Ascension, perhaps."

Went on and finished up the area but now the quest is marked closed

"We have continued on our journey, without pursuing the Arena Master's challenge."

So is this another quest where there is more steps in another act, and the devs for w/e reason mark them as closed such as The Druid?

Other than a dialogue line in the last fight, I never encountered anything else relataed to Champion of the Arenas of the One.

Exact same issue. Killed the golem, talked to the bird, bird said "you are the one, blah blah", went on to next act and "you have chosen to continue without pursuing the arena master's challenge"... I COMPLETED THE ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CHALLENGE, THE BIRD CONFIRMED IT, WHAT THE ♥♥♥♥ DO YOU WANT ME TO DO GAME?! FOR ♥♥♥♥♥ SAKE!
