Bless it and then douse it if need be or use the skill Tornado which removes surfaces in general.

No other way? I have no source points so can't use the spell.

It will go away eventually after combat ends. In combat it's more of a nuisance than a dire threat as long as you keep your magic armor up.

No Cursed surfaces are unremovable until they expire on their own or you Bless it.

If only I found & had that skill, I was hoping I'd come across it by now. It would be useful right now ha

Maybe I'll have to just try to use teleport.

terrain manipulation (polymorph spell) doesn't exactly deal with it but you can teleport any surface away by using that spell

i use it in coop a lot to take necrofire off my melee-oriented teammate which helps his magic armor a bit

Not quite true, you can remove any surface with Tornado (air 3) spell.

There is also polymorph school spell that can switch surfaces in between, don't tell me, you didn't cheese switch water under a boss with nearby lava yet. ;)
In this case the cursed surface won't be gone, just placed elsewhere.

Yes it certainly is as I found out when swarmed by those oil blobs. My party was wiped out so avoided that area.

Damn. Well I'm in another cave at the Reaper's Coast. Some traps went off before I could disarm them. Now it's in the doorways blocking my way. I'm not in combat.

Well i did not use Aerotheurge skill that much, and yeah i know about polymorph but that is not exactly removing it, just moving it.

Yeah this cave is impossible. Cursed fire is everywhere. I'm finding less & less areas on the map that I can actually explore with out constantly dying. I think I'm going to search a walkthrough of the game as this is getting so boring I'm losing the will to bother playing.

It's funny. My party spent like the entire battle burning from cursed fire during that one and it was no big deal. One of the changes to the game is that just standing on a burning surface is actually mostly fine. My mages actually enjoy it. Just keep soothing cold on everyone.

I wouldn't advise running through it though.
