Duel Swords vs. 2H
So I'm using (was) a 2H warrior, kicking ass and taking names. But I pick up some unique swords with additional buffs, and plus 1 to Warfare and decide to duel wield swords. From what I can tell I'm now getting way more damage, despite the -50% damage from not having a duel sword stat. Though I make up for that with the plus 1 ( I guess).
Granted I'm only in Act One with this character, so I don't know what the scaling will be like later on.
For those who have done it, is there a benefit to 2H over dueling two swords? In either case you're not carrying a shield so....

Absolutely ridiculous crit damage is the benefit.

the most powerful weapon is a 2h sword

The benefit to dual over 2H is the various buffs you can match, meaning you can have a poison blade in your main hand that strikes first and then follow that up with a fire sword for a nice extra explosion. Or just more debuffs with each strike, having two weapons each with a 20% chance to add a debuff as opposed to the one on the 2H is cool.

Once you get into Act 2 you can redo your stats and abilities at will, so if you find an exceptionally awesome 2H you can switch back and forth.

I also use venom coating and sparking swings and flurry combo for joyous carnage
