How to heal undead?

Hey guys i have a fane cleric and now in act 2 in big battles i have no idea how to survive with him. any tips?

think about the idea of making him geo/pyro and get demon talent and get rly high fire res so he heals from both fire and poison (makes u abel to heal him even if enemies burn him evry turn and let u combo fire and posion explosion on him for nice heals..also necro..)

- Fly agaric muschroom combined with empty potion bottles gives you poison potion. Combine poison potions to get bigger and better poison potions. Give them all to Fane.

- Learn poison wave, contamination to self heal

- If you want to use other party members to heal fane, throw poison bombs or shoot poison arrows at him.

Like the other guy said, poison, which you can get poisoned potions by combining an empty potion bottle with an ooze barrel, or a potion with an item thats called something with Talon in it. Some healing that you can get access to from the necromancy passives and skills also work, though I've read some conflicting accounts on whether some of the necromancy skills heal or damage undead.

Or you could just haul an ooze barrel around and essentially have a bottomless pool of poison potions (limited only by your bottle supply).

And you can sell the mushrooms to boot since you'll no longer need them.

Depending on what is primary role is: Yes.
Posion Darts work very well.

Tho not as nice as restoration would. Playing undead is definitly harder to heal.
Most of the time i find myself standing in some kind of fire (Fane is a DeathKnight kinda deal in my game, so up close and personal), and the explosions negate most of the healing.

Necro spells also work. I think moskito swarm does, the leech spell does for certain. Also the passive heal from necro points does work (main source of healing for me personally due to the fire explosions issue).

Not all vitality heals do work tho, so test it out before a fight maybe. I know for example the summoner rally skill hurts fane.

edit: Also poison wands are awesome. Dual Poison wands from a high int caster can get him right back up.

Artillery plant is basically an all you can eat buffet for undead.

poison pot works rly nice..heals more then healing pot for your other dudes...i honestly havent used alot of healing spells mid-late game and focus alot of restore armor spells instead.health is not that important to restore compared..

imho, since you have not invested in geo, forget about it. Geo poison healing is not very reliable too, as makes the battlefield a fire hazard and the healing from it is not that amazing. The better way to heal fane is still with poison potions. Like above said, go find an ooze barrel and you can use all your empty potion flask to make potions for fane.

Just use blood storm/rain and bloodsucker with a healthy supply of poison potions.

Also there is an item that converts healing potions into poison ones. One is on the lady vengeance, but I think Rykar has one and there may be others.
