Nameless Isle, Decrepit altar

There's a decrepit altar in a cave that asks for blood, but nothing happens when i cast rain of blood, any idea?

You need dispel illusion which is given to you by Alexander, He gives the "Cowl Of True Sight" which is a helmet/hood that has the ability attached to it, Or place alexander's head on the table if you decided to kill him before he tells you to kill the Shadow Prince.

I got the cowl and used the dispel illusion on the altar. Nothing happened after several attempts..

EDIT: You need to hit the wall behind the altar with the dispel cone.

Do you use the ability on an object or is it area of effect? If you have to use it on an object try the wall behind it. I went the head route so didn't use the cowl.

its an area of effect, but focus on the wall behind the altar.

He should of still had the hat in his inventory allowing you to dispel the illusion

I didn't find it lol ... I ran of the fight after I killed the heart, so I'll come back after, but I think I messed it up...

Check your inventory for cowl of true sight. It grants an ability called dispel illusions. It's an equipment item. If it's not in your inventory it should be on Alexander's body, unless you sold it.

I didin't sell anything since I killed him. I guess I didn't see it in the body. I"ll check it once I kill all the elfs there...
