Demonic Invasion permanent status?

So my main character which is a custom human warrior dual wielder is possessed with a demon, but I can still control him like normal? What is going on?

Did it happen on Bloodmoon Isle? Might be a bug.

If it's related to the quest "Bound by Pain", attack the possessed character until that demon pops out, then destroy the demon.

Try to relaod an older save (before you fight the dwarf) or kill the possessed character.

i used dominate mind on the char affected and this ended the fight, then i just attacked the char with demonic invasion on and this forces the demon out then fought the leftovers
