Skeleton or lizard for pyro/geo?
I have been debating this for awhile.
On one hand, skeletons heal from poison. On the other, lizards can pretty easily get 100% resistance to poison and can still be healed by standard healing spells.

Taking skeleton lizard would be a waste since half the passive from lizard gets negated. So I don't know. Anybody have any thoughts on this?
There is no "right" answer between the two as far as I can see, so I am mostly just looking for discussion.

Wow. Already taking it down a route I didnt even consider for this build.
Haven't tried a crit build yet, but would it still be possible to stack fire defense along with bolstering crit chance?

Pyro has plenty of spells to set off the oil. Non-undead Lizard is good if you are not going to use Pyro.

Hoestly undead human would be better. Why? The main way to up your dps is hothead+ss. Ingenious gives you critical hit chance.

So is fire defense not as useful as I imagine it to be? Trying to make an int staff-fighter of sorts so i'll likely be sitting where I am laying down attacks.

Putting points into weapons as a caster is a huge waste.

You don't even really need fire immunity to stand in fire; you just need a big magic armor pool.

If you are Undead, best get your fire resist up

Yeah, well. Good thing i'm not. Why would I boost weapons when I can just pump the school skill for whatever element staff of my choosing?

Slight Spoiler alert... I would choose red prince if you want to go with summons.

He does havea cool story though.

Somebody already spoiled that in another post sadly :(
I don't think there is any way any of that could compare with the standard B O N E W I D O W, though.

If you thought Mage was weak, it's because you didn't know how to use this.

Undead - Elemental Affinity - Pyro+Geo - Time Warp
Have a good time :)

So we were talking about the Meta, and all I could think of was Elemental Affinity. I think Elemental Affinity is the most underrated talent in this game, at least for the moment. You need some practice to use it right, but after getting a grasp on it, you can pour SXXX loads of spells on enemies' heads.

If you manage to add Elemental Affinity + Glass Cannon, it becomes 10~12AP(6AP × α) in 1 turn. If you add 'Flesh Sacrifice' and 'Adrenaline' on it, then it becomes 15~18AP(9AP × α) in 1 turn. (Flesh Sacrifice also makes blood puddle, and it means unlimited necro skills.) If you add 'Time Warp' and 'Skin Graft' on it, it becomes 25~30AP((15AP × α)) in 1 turn. What I mean by 25AP ~ 30AP in 1 turn is, that you can pour 10~12 skills in 1 turn. And add our beloved 'Savage Sortilege' on it. Nothing can survive 10~12 skills with Crits. However, you have to leave 1 point! 1 point for 'Chameleon Cloak'! Cause you're fabulous!

I've seen some videos using Elemental Affinity, and they were beautiful. People who have used this talent would know how mighty it can be. Shame so many people still doesn't know or talk about this gem. If you want to test it, try it on Hydro first because it is easier to handle. You can apply it on Pyro+Geo after level 10.
