is there a way to identify items without leveling up loremaster?

Most traders can do it for a bit of cash.

merchant can do, whitin limit of their loremaster level.

what traders though? im at driftwood and none of the traders in the square have an option to do it

All of them have it in driftwood market. It's on bottom right in the trading menu. Really stupid place to put it btw.

Well maybe not the book guy, don't remember if he has it. But other two do.

I don't think it's a stupid place to put it. You're trading gold for a service... Makes sense to me.

I think he's talking about the placement of the button itself and not that you can trade gold for it.

Wow thanks man! I spent over a 100 hours on my first playthrough having loremaster - was on my second and I never noticed this before :)
