so uhm scaled phoenix egg

anyone found out how to hatch this cryptic egg because the skill it gives through elves consumeable is pretty easy to obtain

It's not certain the egg does anything beyond sell for a good price! ( and solving the quest gives 45,000 exp!.

Though that being said there are numerous hidden achievements in the game - maybe you'll be the one to 'crack' this particular puzzle!

if you eat the egg you get phoenix dive so if you already know it from a skill book then you probably get nothing.

Sry. yes..it does of course do that. But I still have mine too because I'm curious if it can do more and the rather involved party conversation made it feel more important!

See thats the thing, the fact that it gave me the Choice to keep it implies that there's.... SOMETHING you can do with it... and throughout this game i doubt it'd end up being so... useless instead of obscure, But i don't have any clue aside from that vague hunch.

Well if nothing else, it sells for a decent price. If you didn't need the spell, that would give you some value for it.

It might have to do with a set of gear. There's an overturned cart a little bit past where you get the phoenix egg that gives a unique body armor on the corpse of a Silent Watcher. The body armors name is Very Silent Watcher's Leather Shirt. The only tool tip text is "Phoenix Egg".

Have not been able to find anything else though.

i found a letter that have written Phoenix Egg you can found it in Paladin Checkpoint

The tool-tip for the skull totem in Ryker's basement also says "Phoenix Egg". Starting to wonder if it's just a tooltip blunder
