Shrine of Xantezza (Spoilers OMG mun!)

So yeah just got to the shrine of Xantezza and while I know it is not needed to progress as you get the right answer anyway but what happens if you renounce your god?

Does this have any repercussions or is it more of a humourous dialogue option where your god gets sulky for this dialogue but gets over it in every other dialogue?

Spoiler 1) They will hate you for the rest of your/their life
Spoiler 2): Their life will not be so long however.

I did do that and I doubt it mattered much. You simply rarely see your god after that point and when you do they are more focused on other matters.

So if I ask my god to intervene at other shrines will they show up after denouncing them?
