Help me reach Level 8! (cry for help)

OK, so I am level 7 and have 8925 exp points to go until level 8. As far as I can tell, having traipsed around Fort Joy and the Hollow Marshes for the umpteenth time, I have exhausted all of my exp opportunities. But I'm a level below Bishop Alexander and his cronies and I KNOW that other folk have made it to 8 before that fight. Here are the quests I have yet to clear:

The Escape
A Rare Prey
Champion of the Gods- Fane
Call to Arms
The Purged Dragon
The Tribe of Saheila
Artefacts of the Tyrant
The Arena of Fort Joy
The Cursed Ring- The Red Prince
Withermoore's Soul Jar


I'm the Arena champ and I destroyed Wothermoore's Soul Jar. Any help getting some damn EXP would be very much appreciated.

Okay, do you need guidance for the Purged Dragon quest?

Did you destroy *all* the soul jars in the Vault?

EDIT:

Did you do the burning pigs and the nearby battle? Did you do the gargoyle maze? All option FJ battles like Kniles and the Judge?

Kill Zaleskar at the fort joy drawbridge, do the dragon quest, do the maze&tower, for extra fun kill all the seekers.

I helped the dragon out and he turned into a lizard. I took out ALL of the Soul jars. Burning pigs has been done. All Magisters have been killed.

Where is the gargoyle maze? What's the Tower?

This is hard without knowing exactly what you did and didnt do.
You can check the wikia if you didnt get all 4 of bracchus' armor pieces. Rare prey, champion, tribe and soul jar ones aren't supposed to close.
Also, it might not be a bad thing to level up during the Alexander fight, as you heal up when you do.

Eastern part of the island, accessible from near the dragon beach. There's a small maze with a tower in it. There's a gargoyle that tries to talk to you when you get close. Burning historian, collect the skulls as one use keys, that thing?

Did you do the Braccus Vault (with Trompdoy)?

Thanks for all of the replies. I don't know what the maze is which I will investigate. Just seems weird given that I have truly explored fully and done everything I could!

You should see it on your map, but you have to climb to vines to get to it, which can make it seem inaccessible.

I don't think that's really so. I've hit 8 on FJ twice. Yes, that's with picking unnecessary magister fights (hey, it's not my fault they get mad when I don't have a collar on), but I'm not murdering civilians or anything.
