Crafting...can you craft with rubies?
I am frustrated they royaly nerfed the crafting system. Many liked it the way it was before, and the beauty of it was you could craft or not, it was up to you.

Now to my question....Are rubies used at all in crafting? in the previous game they were important crafting ingredients, but I can find nothing on them for this game and can not get them to combine with anything.

Anyone find a use except a bauble to sell?

Nope. As a general rule, right click an item. If there is the option "combine with", that item can be used in crafting something.

Ink Pot and Quill doesn't have that option on right click. That would be odd if it wasn't used in crafting since it shows up under ingredients instead of miscellaneous

Wrong... there are items that can be combined without having the "combine" option and even some that will not be listed in the recipe book afterwards.

There are even items that count as the same material such as poison's you can use poison potion, poison item, poison barrel or herb to get the same effect on a weapon/food etc. and they do not show up in crafting books after using either.

I think gems might have an effect with doll's but i dunno the recipe i found a working one that can be activated in the toymakers house among the rest so perhaps a way to craft those or other ones ?
