Cave at Reaper's coast
Entered this cave with party of 4 at some point got teleported & split up. If anyone is familiar with this part, is there something specific I'm supposed to do here?

I see now why some people have mentioned about difficulty & it being unbalanced. So far in classic mode the game has been fine, but this part seems ridiculous.

Cold Crawler Voidwoken lv11. How to actually damage these?

Two chars dead, the last was Lohse lv10 with 446HP - dead in 3 hits including all physical & magical armour.

I assume I'm missing something or is it really this unbalanced? Had to end the game as this is just unplayable.

Ha & I just thought of what I could maybe use.... The pyramids?

Yeah, try trading pyramids around and teleporting to one sport. Magic pocket rules

get 1-2 lvl and come back
you must have at least 1 char that can solo kill Crawler
than use that char and gather your party back. last char - right top corner. there are many mobs at that corner.

There's a waypoint in the caves that should be near one of your characters. Just sneak them to the way point and then your whole team can meet up if you want.

Duh :squirtyay: It's a cool part. If anything, it's too easy to beat, they should'v prevented any teleportation in there.

Yep. I'd forgotten I had them tbh. In DOS I needed to use them a lot more from what I remember near the start of the game when you get them compared to to DOS 2.

I think I 'll have to load a previous save then as I'm 1 level below. I was just exploring & thought I'd check out this cave & then regretted it ha

Ahh ok like where the Death Knights are in that mine in DOS. I think only 1 char has +1 sneak, but it's worth a try.

I'm sure once I've put more hours into the game & return there again in another PT, I'll wonder how & why I found it so difficult.

Thanks

lol reminded me of Gargolyle maze, I used teleportation and didn't spend any skull.
Gargolyle then called me a cheater

It was pretty interesting that this whole "teleport and split" never happened to my group. We reached the "end", wondered how to get past the gap and used our mobility skills to get to other side.

Then we simply wondered what's the purpose of ship and ladders down into it, "Why should I go down there, for additional exp?" And now later on hear about how we missed whole "event". :P

I just discovered a hole in the ground (as a 'hidden treasure' mound) that can be interacted with which will teleport to one of the other areas. It has to be dug up with the shovel.

Something else I like about those pyramids is that I can teleport back to the Lady Vengeance & back again. Except not from this cave. Maybe once I know the layout of the whole area I doubt I'll need the pyramids anyway. Unless they're needed for some puzzle I haven't yet found.

Every cage with a door has a key hidden inside that you can get without beating a void crawler, then you can easily gather your guys without teleporting. Only the one room with the vampire things is a bit difficult.

Nice. I look forward to that.

I walked in the cave and was running along the right side and jumped down with cloak and dagger, landed right next to the guy I was looking for

Ah shame. I just tried to see if I could use the pyramids to teleport back to the Lady Vengeance, but it doesn't work. Oh well at least I finally found a way to teleport out the cave of monotony.

I had similar experience. Only the one big cave/room thingy that had the 2 vampiric voidwokens was challenging at all. Even the boss was easier than that lol.

Guys I found the easiest solution to this. Just take what you want inside the cave and teleport out by waypoint on each character. Then just walk back into the cave and go to the place where the voidwoken initially webbed you down and took you into the new area. They won't appear to drag you down this time. If you go to the right you will see a hidden dirt pile which uncovers a tunnel in which your whole party can just go down to the area. It's as easy as it sounds...

Nah. Leveling until 11-12 before going into that cave. Put source orb into amulet on high WIT char -> cast evasive aura -> survive round 1 with no or almost no damage. Kill 1-2 mobs during it and remaining fight won't be any problem (especially with dome of protection).
