[BUG] Scroll of atonement disappeared

This seems like a major issue... I got the scroll, went to kemm's mansion and I don't have the scroll now... how messed up is that :/

You're not the only one, means I cannot finish the game.

You can - create a mercenary and go with him through the path of blood - a fresh merc doesn't have sins. But it's a downer nonetheless :/

bad stuff...me too, but I dunno what happend.On my quest log, it says I aquired it, but not in my inventory. Either I sold it or use it somewhere by mistake. I have also a doubt. I loot from that table at the Toyseller's house a strange Scroll of Eternity. I cannot find anywhere on the web this scroll. does anyone know if it's a related?

I have just come to find that my scroll of atonement has also vanished from inventory. Was there before I patched this morning.

Looks like the patch ate the scroll, to fix it go back to the Lady Vengence dismiss one of your party and hire a mercenary, use the merc to pass the Path of Blood checks then activate the waypoint in the crypt.

Yeah, the same problem here. Kinda a big screw-up. Are they going to fix this?

My scroll disappeared as well.

It didnt show up in my inventory when i picked it up. And now its gone... poof.

Just to be clear, When you dismiss a companion and get a new one, only for getting inside the Path of Blood, yuo can always hire him again at the House of Echoes (aka the ship).
So if the Scroll disappear, dismiss one of your mercs, just hire a new one on the ship, get him inside the path of blood, teleport your team inside (remeber the pyramids!). Dismiss the virgin companion, and get back the former one. More importantly, when you dismiss someone, he will be so nice to give you a backpack with all his gear and stuff, so you can equip back again all his stuff. And remeber, drop the backpack on the floor, open it and use the take all button. I know some people click and drag every single items...meh. Well done Larian for that.

It's not the newest patches.. it happened to me way before.

I used the merc trick too to finish the game.

Edit: I got the scroll though before I was supposed by pickpocketing toymaker and to get the password and then sneaking in to get the scroll. (Just for the challenge, had no idea it would mess me up big time later when had only Path of Blood left)

We would very much like to have a savegame where this happens/has happened. Then we can see where the scroll is.

Saves (or a Dropbox or Google drive link, etc) can be emailed to [e-mail], with a description (or link to this discussion).

Each save is a folder in the '..\Documents\Larian Studios\Divinity Original Sin 2\PlayerProfiles\<ProfileName>\Savegames\Story' folder.

In Windows Explorer you can zip a file or folder by right clicking on it/them and selecting 'Send To | Compressed (zipper) Folder'.

From what I observed, the scroll counts as simple paper, it got used up while I was making an epidemic of fire scroll. This only was realized when I loaded from a save from an hour earlier.
