wrecker's cave (mild spoilers)

in wrecker's cave towards the end, down the hatch after you fight Mordus, did anyone else get jumpped by a gang of crabs and a shark riding on a broken ship? this was weird as all hell for me.

Yeh, there is a trap in the water that casts fireballs at the cave wall. This causes a cave in that brings a broken ship and the shark down. It’s normal to have happen. The shark is beefy enough to be a bit of a threat but it has a massive weakness you can exploit. I wasn’t the only one that felt like a fish out of water in that fight

Are you talking about the hatch in the room near mordus, cause i cant find the key/gem to that hatch. or the hatch thatd up on the wooden over loom type area that overlooks mordus

I started the fight from the other cave near the boat that has all the death fog in it, rather than going through wreckers cave first

I did this by using the teleport gloves and the teleport ability, to leap frog my party from the top of the castle to tye beach area
because i dont think i either had the pyramids yet, or i wasnt sure how they worked but thats how i did that

one last question, Im level 14 is going back to the cave to loot that room even worth it for the gear? If worst thing i could just sell it but id prefer to have gear that i could use

If you might remember his basement in town, there was a skull on the wall you couldn’t interact with yet. The “key” to that is down in that room. So even if the gear you might find down there isn’t quite worth it, you’ll want to anyway.

Rofl, I didn't find crabs and shark as I was expecting traps in teh water so I used haste+wings to pass the water without activation Q_Q

I just encountered that, it really had me laughing, said massive weakness that the shark has made me think of Ark Evolved where the same thing happens, usually also in a quite silly manner. The wreck is technically enough to be an 'Ark' as well, so in my little headcanon Imma call this an Ark reference, but in reality it is probably just a goof, or a reference to some much older game or movie.

Shark can't attack you on land, and if you teleport it onto land, it dies immediately.

I turned the shark into a chicken and the next round a crab came right up to it and clawed it…that was a nice touch…I tried teleporting it to land first, but where I was I couldn’t get a good vantage point to dry land.
