Favorite skill combos
Most of the fun I got from this game was from figuring out interesting skill combos. Don't spoil yourself!

What are your favorite skill combinations?

Some of mine:
Rupture Tendons + Chicken Claw
Target runs around like a chicken bleeding itself out.

(Living on the Edge +) Shackles of Pain + Marksman's Fang
Double proc on aoe/ line abilities by lining up my tank, his shackled enemy, and my archer.

I haven't tried:
Fortify + Defensive Barrier + Heart of Steel + Bone Cage + Overpower
Stack armor, then Overpower

(With Necromancy) Soul Mate + Decaying Touch + heal
You heal. the target shares your heal, but takes damage because of Decaying Touch. You heal from that damage because of necromancy... loop until dead.

The last one I discovered from trying to share my healing with Fane using Soul Mate. He had Living on the Edge so it just kept procing until the game crashed.

FYI, I believe they are removing the infinite loop based on Living on the Edge, Undead, Healing/necro, and Soul Mate.

More things for you to add on to the Overpower thing would be Soul Mate and shields up, and all those same skills on the soul mate caster, and maybe Dome of Protection (custom undead basic source skill). Of course this would all build up Reactive Armor as well, but tbh, with all the AP you'd spend it probably wouldn't be worth it :P

Personally I like explosions, so I'm all for poison + fire :D

I also really love the idea of your Rupture Tendons + Chicken Claw, I'd probably never think of that.

I don't think shields up, dome of protection, or soul mate can raise your cap. If you're not maxed out though, that would be a great way to regen

The chicken claw combo is very effective for damage and CC. On my rogue, one of my rotations will be to backstab through the armor, leave 4 AP for claw and rupture tendons. That enemy is either diabled for a turn with massive damage, or flat out dead. You don't need all their armor down when you use rupture tendons, as long as the ability does take out all the armor, it should still inflict the condition. When that combo is down, I either use chameleon at the end of a backstab chain, or a knockdown

I'm glad to hear there's a patch for the loop coming, it is kind of game-breaking.

Good point with the fire + poison. There are a lot of great combos between the pyro and geo skills

Hell yeah. I was co-oping with a friend when we first pulled off the chicken combo and we couldn't stop laughing for the rest of the session.

Chicken Claw might be my favorite skill. It's armor-save 2-turn 2 AP cc that no one has immunity to. And when we used it on the Knight of Duna it seemed like his immunities were nullified. I need to test that further.

Rain + Contaminate

Gigantic poison field. I'm running undead so it was nice early game but now EVERY enemy sets it on fire

Rain + Contaminate + Siphon Poison.

I've yet to test it but I have great hopes for it.

Deflective Barrier/Fortify/Reactive Armor

The best dmg combo I have for my sword and board battlemage.

Living on the Edge + Forced Exchange

Hilariously broken but it gets the job done.

Deathwish + shackles of pain is a lot of fun :D

As an inquistior after your armor goes down you rely on lifesteal from your attacks to keep you alive. So using this combo you can let yourself get hit a lot and then turn around and wack 1 target for a crapload of damage and heal yourself back up. They end up taking damage from both the inital attacks on you and then again from your supercharged attack from deathwish

That sounds so troll haha I can't wait to try it

Fortify plus Bone Cage plus Overpower works pretty well.

For 3 AP you can fully heal your physical armor with: Fossil Strike + Oily Carapace. To remove the slow, spend an additional AP to cast Haste or Tactical Retreat.

Summon bloated corpse + supercharger and then have the corpse run in and explode.
