Umbral Totem and possessed dwarves
It's a fight that is located near of the djinn that you find on a beach. I can't figure out how to deactivate the Umbral totem that buffs the nearby ennemies every turn. I tried fighting outside, but while being out of range, I still can't win it.

If i deactivate it, do the dwarves become peacefull?

Nope. You need to kill them anyway.
If you are having difficulty with that fight and are equal level to them. Come back when you are a level or two higher and the fight will be much much easier.

alright, i'll try that, i'm nearly 11 and they are 10
You can talk to the dwarfs hiding in the cave on the other side of the road from the ruins. 2 level 10's to help. also you can attack from the high ground on the left side of the ruins there is a bridge to get up there.

You can destroy the Totem (Statue).
This is also one of those fights that becomes much easier depending on your approach angle. Come in through the main gate you'll find yourself in a killbox with enemies in elevated positions on every side.

Come in from the mountains on the side where you initiate the fight from an elevated position, and you'll have a much easier time.
i literally killed the statue before starting the fight. i used cover (C) to sneak in from the south side with the high ground and used my ranger and right clicked and attacked the statue kiling it before the fight starts.
KHAAAAAAAN!
It sounds like you're entering through the main gate. That's generally a bad position to put yourself in, you want to approach from the West wall of the castle-thing, giving you a height advantage over half the enemy mob, and making the other half spend 2 full turns just moving closer to you.

In most Dinvinity fights, the obvious open path to the battle is not the one you want to take, because the designers put enemies in key positions to ♥♥♥♥ you over if you try it.
This is one of the things I love about this game, and one of the things I picked up very early on, in the crocodile fight. I died a few times before working out my placement before battle. When I snook my casters in on the high ground before charging my warrior in, the fight was essentially over before it began
You can deactivate it by smashing it into pieces. Has a decent chunk of HP tho. Damn void filth.
Also, if the fight proves hard, try to enter the ruin from above (should be able to approach from the south of the ruin. Get up the hill path, watch out for traps tho. If you stay at the high ground you force the winged dwarves to get off their high ground and funnel to your location. Fun times.
