Wait, wait wait... if that works, what about Bless and Cleanse Wounds? Shouldn't they still work, too? And wouldn't that mean that there actually IS something remotely helpful in this thread?
I... have no idea what else works off the top of my head. I generally ignore decay as it is incredibly rare that I bother to heal anyway. Healing is for scrubs :fscared:
Cleanse Wounds works, too. If it isn't the decaying shroud in Paradise Downs, it also removes Decaying for good before healing.
It tells you what removes decay when you hover the cursor over the decay icon next to the affected character's portrait. It's the same for any other condition as well.

Fortify(Geomancer), Cleanse Wounds(Hydrosophist/Warfare has to be crafted by combining a non source Hydro and Warfare skillbook) or Bless( which you get automatically during the story).
just note you don't get bless until end of act 1 (leaving fort joy)

Eh, late to mid act one. If you really want, you could have it at level 3 or 4.

maybe in alpha build(last one i played), but in def ed it just say

"Healing spells and potions will damage you for 100%
Duration x turns"

not a problem for me as i know how to remove it, but they changed it so it no longer say what remove it like it does on EVERY other neg effect
To be fair you only get information about what cleanses what from stats. So the other guy could of had the stats and you do not.

Says something about how the more "blank you have" the more you will know about an enemy. works the same for allies too, just don't remember what the stat was.
Bless, ClearWounds, Fortify still work as of now (watch the date of my comment), to the guy above that mentions the "perma decay area" if you remove decaying there, it will be instantly reapplied after the above mentioned buffs run out, only leaving the area will remove decaying here permanently. Any healing WILL do dmg instead with the decaying debuff. To sum (taken from an unpopular but not so incomplete wiki):
The standard heals (restoration, first aid, healing potion, food etc) will do damage instead.
Blood sucker, which normally heals undead as well as living, will damage them instead.
Poison, which normally heals undead, will damage them instead.
The full heal from Bedroll is not affected by decaying.
The passive heal from dealing damage while having points in Necromancy is not affected by decaying.
Since Cleanse Wounds removes decaying before applying the healing effect, the healing applied to a target is not affected by decaying.
Fortify can be used to remove Decaying

their is also cryostatis. the one ability that freezes yourself.. it removes decay if i remember correct.
but like people mentioned if you are in Act 2 at that place where you get the debuff decay that is part of the quest. you have to kill the big ugly bird. to get rid of it. the bird is the source of the decay debuff in that area.
that is why your charakter says we need find the source for this ..

also dont forget.. if you remove decay and heal . healing lasts 2 turns .. the heal will deal dmg the second turn and they will get hostile
