If possible, you might be able to just instantly kill the demon in one action with something like arrow storm which would save you a lot of tedium in this fight.
When the demon left my avatar body he had less than 600 HP, and when i used a skill that hit for more than 1k damage, the demon instead of dying he just possessed my avatar again, and this while it was my turn i still had action points and the demon just freakin possessed my avatar in the middle of my FREAKING TURN, worst of all, everytime the demon possessed my Lone wolf avatar he would use 50% of all scrolls bombs and potions.
I had more than 10 Big Healing Potions, the demon used 7 of them, ffs.
If he dies, he dies ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, how thought it would be a good idea that if you try to hit kill the demon he will possess one of your characters?
On top of that he uses all of my expensive and very rare potions. Terrible.
Demons cant invade summons at all. Problem solved.
You got the idea.
Sure, your easy way is best way.
Meanwhile, we would like to challenge ourselves to do a good deed despite the dififculty over here.
Smart. :D
If you're gonna do it the rpg way.. you just have to accept that your guys will be possessed, drop all your gear prior to the engagement, incl all your spells, just punch each other down and kill the demon eventually.. or murder the dwarf whilst he's chained up.
Actually, usually RPGs offer reputation checks through these possessions.
Even if you go so far as to sack all your group members, rehire new ones from the merc dealer, buy the spells.. the mercs don't care about rep. And they won't quit your side at the alter of the moon or whatever it is.
Tons of money in Arx.. just loot everything and sell it.
