How do I reach Lohar's workers in Mordus' basement?

I think my character spotted something right after going down the hatch, but I can't find it on my screen. I've done the ddeper basement with the lich, but the first basement I see a room with Lohar's workers and at least one chest.

How do I get in there?

I believe there was a button on the wall somewhere

Ah, found it. A lever on one of the pillars in the room, not on the wall.
