Best uses for Deathfog

So, it seems that there are crates/barrels of deathfog available to us. I'm not sure how limited these are, but I've collected several dozen already on the Lady Vengeance.

Anyone have any tips on how best to use these? Any fights that are hilarious to utterly cheese with them?

I used one for the Karon fight in the sewers.. put it in the center of the circle of braziers, then lit them with a fire grenade. He teleported into the deathfog right off, and dropped dead.

I suppose if I still have them at the end of the game I can always distribute them around Arx (along with my unusually large collection of poison/oil barrels) and just utterly nuke the place.

Yeah there are Deathfog Barrels aplenty around in Arx, and even a bit before that, you can right click and pick up, then send straight from your inventory to the Lady Vengence. Perhaps with the patch you can send it straight to the ship from the right click menu? Havent tried.

You can obtain death fog in the tutorial without being undead, a mouse and key board is pretty much required to do so. You basically have to yank the barrels so fast that the squid doesn't grab them. I've achieved this live on my twitch stream. You MUST take the telepathic grab as your first skill on your primary if you wish to do this, otherwise you won't be fast enough.

Also, if you have the telepathy you can put the death fog barrels in a bag and just move them along with you til you hit a scene or area transition, then just take into inventory and use the transition.. then repeat. Easy way to prevent them from costing you weight allowance.

I am doing this in my current campaign. I have them stored on one of the columns near the statue at the start of act 1. They stay there persistently I believe until you move areas or change acts. They may just stay there persistently period, but I have not tested nor do I wish to risk their loss.

You don't even need telekinesis. I just ran up to them after spamming through the door and nabbed one and then ran back. Even just grabbing one drastically reduces the fog radius and lets you live.

If you are trying to save Arhu without a lot of fuss, kill Kemm in the barracks first. Enter the vault with Arhu next but set off two crates of Death Fog in the open areas that sit adjacent to the entrance. Even with Kemm gone, the Black Ring still shows up. The Death Fog will kill some of them instantly once Arhu is free. The remainder can be tossed into the fog using teleport. It made a messy chore a lot easier.

On tutorial ship outside deathfog room
The painted door move a barrel to the left side of the door , not in front of the door, in front of the wall. Then stand sandwiched between the barrel and the wall facing the barrel.

Then right click barrel, and say pick up and as fast as yo can start clicking into the deathfog barrel room ... You will warp through the wall.

Then move all 3 barrels to a safe place in the room (near the door) and open the door with the key, Kraken tentacles hit nothing ... you have 3 barrels of death fog.
